Dachshund Wins Big Playing Online Poker

Move over, C.M. Coolidge. This dog playing poker has gone digital, and managed to rake in a whopping $65,000 in three months.

Zoey, a dachshund from Welcome, NC, plays on UltimatePoker.com for about seven hours a day, whittling real money away from novice players — most of whom have no idea she’s a dog.

“A lot of inexperienced players try to make big moves early on to cash out as soon as possible,” says poker expert and coach Willy Davis. “Not Zoey. She plays a slow game, bleeds ‘em dry. Eventually, that pays off big.”

Pup’s Gymnastics Routine Wows All But One Judge

Olympic gymnastics competitor Jinny performed her floor routine “with the grace and fervor of a seasoned athlete,” according to one commentator. And all the judges agreed, awarding her scores in the high nines — except for one.

“The Latvian judge is really tough,” Jinny’s coach Marco Fid tells The Fluffington Post. “Her routine was flawless, but we’d be lucky with a 5.8 from that guy.”

1 in 3 Dogs Regrets Posting Risqué Photos on Facebook

A survey by Gallup finds that roughly one-third of dogs has regrets about posting unseemly photos of themselves to Facebook.

“You can always delete the photos,” says Josh Catone of tech news site Mashable.com. “But the damage to a dog’s reputation is harder to erase.”
